Thanks to everyone who came down to Band Pro's One World Open House 2013 on Thursday, December 12th! Our event keeps gaining momentum, and this year we broke our attendance record once again.
Band Pro's tent space was converted into a dynamic, interactive camera, recording, and workflow environment where products were displayed as they're actually used on set. Special thanks to all our participating Exhibitors for sharing their latest offerings (see the complete Exhibitor List below). Thanks also to Production Hub for conducting live interviews all night. We will share these with you once they become available.
Attendees saw Band Pro's new 4K short film 'Viewing the Night Sky in Summer' featuring the Mt. Wilson Observatory, and exclusive footage of SpaceX rocket launches, screened in our 4K Viewing Area. Loads of great Raffle Prizes were given away over the course of the evening, and great food was provided by Lucchese Legends Catering.
This year saw the official unveiling of the new Summicron-C lenses by CW Sonderoptic, makers of the Leica Summilux-C. Canon showcased their full Cinema EOS line including the C500, C300, 1DC, C100, and Canon EF lenses. Sony brought their full Monitor display array, as well as the F65, F55, F5, and FS700 cameras. Local robot builder Gene Arena brought down two R2D2s. All in all it was an amazing event.
