Thanks to everyone who visited Band Pro on the Paramount Lot at Cine Gear LA 2015!
This year we featured the FS7, A7s and F55 cameras from Sony, Leica Summicron-C lenses from CW Sonderoptic, state-of-the-art RED and ARRI camera controls from Semote, the new Shogun monitor/recorder from Atomos, the new Vario 5 from Easy Rig, Safe Tap from Lent Equip, ORCA Bags, and many more.
Band Pro and FilmLight also presented a powerful new dailies platform for shot management and high-performance transcoding with FLIP, FilmLight’s real-time image processor for on-set grading of digital cameras: Daylight. Daylight is now available for rent or purchase or rent combined with FLIP, a render-free, color managed, metadata-based workflow - from set to final deliverables.
Colorist and FilmLight expert Bobby Maruvada demonstrated Daylight, which incorporates the full color-finishing toolset available in Baselight. See for yourself what Filmlight can do, and learn about the benefits of starting the grading and color management process at the point of acquisition.
Band Pro also hosted a free 70mm screening of BARAKA in the Sherry Lansing Theater, followed by a Q&A with Producer Mark Magidson. Thanks to FD Times Editor Jon Fauer for moderating. We had a full house, and a really amazing afternoon!
If you couldn't make it down, here's a few photos from the show.
