The ALEXA 35 Xtreme Base - Operator Sets address owner/operators as well as sport and documentary filmmakers who favor dynamic and comfortable handheld operating. The ALEXA 35 Xtreme Base - Operator Set (LPL, MVF, CDX) contains an ALEXA 35 Xtreme camera with a Base license (ARRICORE and ProRes recording with basic 16:9 & 2:1 spherical recording formats in frame rates up to 60 fps), LPL Mount (LBUS), PL-to-LPL Adapter, MVF-2 viewfinder, the Top Operator Grip made with sustainably-sourced walnut, the Touchdown baseplate system, three Compact Drive Express 1TB and one Compact Drive Reader (USB-C).
The ALEXA 35 Xtreme camera with Base license can be upgraded through the ARRI shop (shop.arri.de) via temporary or permanent licenses to the following features: frame rates up to 660 fps, ARRIRAW recording, all Open Gate-width and anamorphic recording formats, in-camera anamorphic de-squeeze, pre-recording, and look (ARRI Textures, ARRI Look Library, and Custom Color Management). Each feature license can be purchased individually or all together in the Premium license.
