RigMount magnetic camera mounts are a new approach to portable camera support for both photo and video cameras. The great thing about mounting a camera with a RigMount magnetic camera mount is that once it is safely attached to a steel surface, it will never lose its holding power. This gives you peace of mind and better results as well. Many other mounting devices can sag or detach. When you mount your camera with a RigMount you can be confident that your frame will stay exactly where you want it. If shooting in extremely hot or cold weather RigMounts are perfect as they are not affected by temperature, unlike suction cups.

Suction mounts are prone to vibration because of the rubber components. Because this magnet camera mount uses less rubber material than suction mounts your shots will be more stable with less vibration. The rubber coating on RigMount magnetic mounts is just enough to protect the surface you are mounting to from being scratched while not depleting the strength of the magnet. All magnets are not created equal. RigMount magnets have stainless steel studs which make them very strong and resistant to corrosion as well as a proprietary rubber casing which we have refined over many years.

RigMount X4 comes with 4 individual RigMount magnet mounts which attach to the RigPlate. You can also use the parts separately for mounting point-and-shoot and action cameras like the GoPro®.

Ball heads and flat-mount tripod heads can be mounted directly to the RigPlate with an included 3/8″ bolt. There are many options available.
