After a two-year hiatus, Band Pro’s One World Open House returned on Thursday 12/8/2022. Guests were invited to eat, drink and be merry with their friends at the perfect kick off to the holiday season.
Band Pro’s Guest of Honor this year was Emmy Award winning cinematographer Checco Varese, ASC. Known for excellence in both film and television, Checco’s work includes: Dopesick, It: Chapter 2, Daisy Jones & the Six, The Strain and much more.
Band Pro President & CEO Amnon Band remarked: “Checco is an artist who infuses his work with an immediacy, beauty and humanity that is truly remarkable. It’s wonderful to have him join us as our Guest of Honor. Our Open House event has been on hold for the past two years, but we’re back.”

Industry legend Otto Nemenz was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the event in recognition of his ongoing contribution to the filmmaking community.
This year's Open House combined the best television and cinema technology, along with fine food & drink, and attendees comprising a who’s-who of the global cinematography community. Exhibitors this year included Sony, Canon, Angenieux, Fujinon, Zeiss, Litepanels, 16x9, Inc., ORCA Bags and many more. Band Pro’s exhibit space was 100% rain & weather proof. There was no admission fee to attend, and complimentary valet parking was provided. RSVP was required for admission.

Band Pro's tent exhibition space featured a dynamic, interactive camera, recording, and workflow environment where products were displayed as they are used on set; together with dedicated Exhibitor Tables. Special guests, live music, and lots of giveaways made this the don't-miss party of the season.
