PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Thanks to Angenieux's IRO (Interchangeable Rear Optics) technology, Optimo Ultra Compacts are now compatible with FF/VV and U35 cameras. In it's native Full Frame/Vista Vision format, this lens features a T2.9 aperture, and a 37-102mm zoom range. In the U35 format, this lens features a T2.2 aperture and a 28-76mm zoom range.
This next generation of Angenieux professional cine zoom lenses are designed for the FF/VV and Open Gate format. Angenieux Optimo Ultra Compacts are among the lightest on the market and provide a perfect compliment to Angenieux Optimo Ultra 12X zooms and Optimo Primes. Image quality is consistent across the aperture range at every focal length and focus distance. Angenieux Ultra Compacts are direct descendants of the iconic and Academy Award-winning Optimo 15-40 and 28-76 lenses, which have been very popular with cinematographers for more than 15 years.
