Optimo Ultra Compact lenses are a clear upgrade from the academy awarded Optimo 15-40 and 28-76 lenses which have been the faithful companions for Cinematographers for more than 15 years. Thanks to Angenieux IRO (Interchangeable Rear Optics Technology™), an innovative modular lens design, both lenses are interchangeable between Full Frame/Vista Vision and Ultra 35.

IRO (Interchangeable Rear Optics) Technology
Full Frame/Vista Vision | Ultra 35
Angenieux Ultra Compact Full Packs give you the flexibility to use Ultra Compacts with Full Frame or Super 35 cameras. Full Packs include One (1) FF/VV IRO block and One (1) U35 IRO block. Each IRO block is optimized for its respective image format.
Note: Angenieux IRO is a dedicated rear optical lens group, it is not a speed booster or reducer.

- User changeable focus marking rings (focusing scales available in feet or metric)
- Adapted to extreme shooting environments (passive athermalization from -20°C to +45°C)
